An Affordable Supercar?
Now I have to be honest I\’ve never heard of this car until I stumbled upon it on Gas Motor Cars website.
It\’s called the Rossion Q1 and could be an affordable supercar. So where did it come from, well it\’s a kit car that is fast and affordable (when it comes to supercars).
The Rossion Q1 is an American mid-engined sports car that was made in Riviera Beach, Florida from 2008-2018 by American automaker Rossion Automotive. Development began on the Rossion Q1 after the rights to the Noble M400 chassis were acquired in February 2007. Intention were to build and design a completely new car fusing the strengths of the M400, its sporty looks and upgrading it with the latest luxuries. The power plant is 3.0 L Twin-turbo re-built Ford Duratec V6 engine with 508 hp and 521lb of torque. The transmission is a Getrag 6-speed manual with Quaife automatic torque-biasing differential. The body is a made of carbon-kevlar with a redesigned front end that has a large integrated air intake and ram air side window ducts. It also sports a rear carbon-kevlar diffuser, in conjunction with the flat under tray that creates downforce on the chassis for high speed grip and stability.
This one is offered with an exterior finish of Monaco Orange Pearl with black and orange-stitched leather and alcantara interior and available from our friends at Gas Motor Cars in Marietta, GA.
