A VIP Look at the Savoy Private Collection

The Savoy at the Savoy Auto Museum
The Savoy Automobile Museum took the Metro Motorcar Club on a VIP tour behind scenes in to the Savoy Private Collection.

Savoy Automobile Museum provides a window into the diverse culture around automobiles. Their exhibitions, programs and experiences are sure to captivate everyone from car aficionados to those just discovering their love for cars. You can appreciate the beauty of automobile design and trace its history through time. Located a convenient distance between Chattanooga and Atlanta, this esteemed museum rests on 37 beautiful acres in Cartersville, GA. As you enter the premises, your eye will be met with captivating original artworks and grand automobiles! Lucky me – I got to enjoy an exclusive tour of their private collection too.

NOTE: The picture above is the actual Savoy found on the property when construction start, giving the museum it\’s name.

Not only can you visit but you can help build by donating unrestricted automobiles, library items, artifacts and automobilia. Through a variety of constantly changing exhibits, programs and interactive experiences your donations will be preserved for future generations. Your donation will assist us in preserving the history of automobiles. Every contribution is thoroughly evaluated by our Collections Committee to certify that it suits the museum\’s mission and can be managed with current resources, taking into account its rarity, originality, authenticity and provenance. With your help we can continue making progress towards this honorable cause!

In video below I spoke to Darrell Frisby about the current exhibits, Locally Owned, Fabulous Fins, Build for a Crisis, British Invasion and their Savoy Private Collection. Our friend Dallas takes us on a tour of the private collection where we see an array of stunning vehicles.
