A Humble Beginning: Cars & \’Q Takes Shape
The Cars & \’Q for the Cause event had modest beginnings in 2009, initiated by a handful of Choate Construction employees with a shared passion for cars and a desire to make a difference in the fight against cystic fibrosis. Inspired by the vibrant spirit and resilience of Leann Rittenbaum Ott, a dear friend and a source of inspiration for the cause, the event was infused with a sense of purpose from the start. Even if you are not fortunate enough to work at Choate Construction, it is widely known that every employee is considered a valued member of the family.

Over the years, the event flourished, transforming from a small gathering into a grand spectacle that captivates car enthusiasts and charity supporters alike. With every passing year, Cars & \’Q evolved, drawing in more participants, sponsors, and patrons, all contributing to the cause. The Warrior Award, named in memory of Leann Rittenbaum Ott, became a symbol of honor, recognizing sponsors who demonstrated unwavering dedication to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through their support of the show and its mission.
